Sara Bartumeus

Architect at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB) with a Master’s in Landscape Architecture (UPC).
She began her teaching and research activity in 1994 in the Department of Urbanism and Territorial Planning (ETSAB). Researcher for the Barcelona Urbanism Laboratory (LUB) until 2004. Professor of landscape projects on the Landscape Architecture degree from 1999 to 2003 and professor in the Master’s Program in Landscape Architecture since 1997 (ETSAB-UPC). She is also a professor of Urban Projects in the Department of Urbanism and Territorial Planning at the ETSAV. Currently is a member of the Barcelona City Council’s Architecture Committee and of the COAC’s Advisory Committee in Urban Planning and Landscape.
In association with Anna Renau, since 1994, her professional activity has involved planning, landscape architecture and architecture projects, specially social housing and public facilities, some of which have won awards and appeared in specialized journals. Recently, within the framework of the Year Cerdà, they have designed the exhibition entitled “Cerdà and the Barcelona of the future. Reality versus design” at the CCCB.
